I rented the new book 1 from a library about a year ago. Now I'm running a solo game and I'd like to use a couple sections out of the new book, if anyone could refresh my memory on the following points...
1) the Helghast at the end. I seem to remember you killing it with a weapon you get in the king's hall. how did that work, exactly? Can someone remind me?
2) The battle at Alema Bridge. I remember it being bigger, but I don't recall how. Someone remind me?

1) In the king's hall you use the helghast's magical dagger to kill it. Princess Madelon tosses it to you after the helghast throws it at one of the king's men to kill him.
2) In the battle you can ignite explosive charges and you have some other options as well.

The main thing I can't recall with the bridge is when you fight the Gourgaz. The sequence of events is throwing me off. I'm pretty certain you still fight the gourgaz, though I suppose I could have my wires crossed. I also recall something about escaping by leaping into the river, but again... that could be just wishful thinking.

I believe on the other side. In the original it seems like such a small bridge, while in the new version it's a HUGE bridge of the Kwai. I mean Alema.
Will dig out the book in a little bit and check for you.
