Arghh. I don't think I've seen more than half of these covers. Anyway, answer PM'ed.

And the contest is closed! The first post has been edited to show the covers and match them up, to explicitly answer it though:
2 and 10 (book 1) 14 and 16 (book 2) 1 and 12 (book 3) 3 and 13 (book 4) 6 and 8 (book 9) 9 and 15 (book 10) 4 and 7 (book 11) 5 and 11 (book 12)
So, I had five answers to this question leading to four perfect scores. Aguila Saber got half the bonus for guessing 'Brian Salmon' as the artist for all the covers (Doomy informed me already that Fred Gambino did Cauldron of Fear) even though this one favoured a british viewpoint I guess. Anyway, well done everyone! Hope it was enjoyable!
Joint first place: Black Cat - 10 points Doomy - 10 points Simey - 10 points Swiftstrike - 10 points
2nd place: Aguila Saber - 7 points
