Hmm, running out of time to tidy at home and tie up the contests. Sixth Sense and the final scores may need to wait - we shall see!

And so the Kai Discipline Decathalon comes to a close just before the May holiday.
Thank you everyone who took part! Except you don't want me to thank the people who took part, you want me to rank them...or something.
Last year Black Cat stole the show for the Kai from a determined Cener. This year Doomy and Aguila were gunning to give the Cener a run for his money.
However, by entering every contest enthusiastically, this year I can declare the KKD5 goes to Swiftstrike! Congratulations!
And no need to worry about the allies fo Light squabbling for second place, as Doomy ad Aguila both get joint second place for their hard work! Congratulations to you too!
And although his presence has been less this year, the Grand Master of the Order was still able to make his contests count, and has gained third place through his three entries! Not too shabby! Well done!
And many thanks to Sam for entering the first contests, especially the creative ones so creatively! And Simey for managing to stick his head in around his illness (though no creative efforts, sadly). And to Dharn for managing to get away from busy-ness long enough to take first place in the Mindshield art sub-contest!
Well done everyone! And anyone who could not participate, or could not participate more, was sadly missed!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
FIRST PLACE Swiftstrike: 88 points
JOINT SECOND PLACE Aquila Saber: 64 points points Doomy: 64 points
THIRD PLACE Black Cat: 30 1/2 points
PARTICIPATION Samildanach Emrys: 22 points Simey: 18 points Beowuuf - 13 points Dharn - 2 points

Oooh, wonder who won. I'm betting on Swiftstrike. Told you so! Congratulations, Swifty. As the only one to enter every contest, you deserved the win. Speaking of making a superhuman effort, let's hear it for Beowuuf, who singlehandedly devised each and every contest, judged entries AND did the hoovering.

2nd with only 6 or so entries....
Seems we need to go recuiting for more.
Thank you to Beowuuf for putting up all the hard work to make this competition possible.
Hopefully, next KDD will be held at the Tower of the Sun forums.

Congratulations, Swiftstrike! And top stuff, Beo! A superb selection of hugely varied and interesting contests! Really wish I'd entered more. I don't think I've ever been ill for nearly three weeks before, which probably makes me rather lucky, but given that I don't get ill very often generally, it made me feel pathetically feeble and sorry for myself. Which is a rubbish excuse for anything really, and this was clearly such a fine competition, I should've got more involved. Regretful, I am. (I did actually have a think about Sixth Sense, but I fear my brain threatened to melt. )
