Yea well I knew that, but I thought Gunnery adjust how much dmg your guns do. In your last post you said I should worry about my HP if it takes me a long time to kill NPCs. For me, most NPCs take between 3-4 shots of my guns to take down, each gun doing about 500-600 dmg each shot. What Aguila Saber was getting at, I believe, is if your enemy has chance to fight back (i.e. you can't guarantee sinking them in one or two barrages), you'll need more HP in order to withstand them returning fire. I, personally, take several barrages to sink anything, but I have oodles of HP and cheap repairs, so it doesn't really matter. Except when someone way above me attack me and sinks me without effort, which happens every day, more or less.

I've replaced everything since the last time I posted my stats, so here they are again. I seem to be running out of things to buy. Any input is welcome.

Hmmm... will head out of Jade Archipelago towards Corxas myself soon. Pity he's not in my level range.
Anyway, looking at my gear I can see that my Rare sails are now too low level and I'd be better off buying new high-level sails, since I have the capacity for the heavier (and faster) sails anyway.
Anyone interest in bidding on: Pirate Sail Swashbuckler Sail
Then answer to this thread and I will try to arrange so you can attend to the auction's end. (There is however no way to be sure you will get the item.)

Damn. Thanks for trying anyhoo. If he gets within my level range let me know. If he's level 32 then he's not too far away from me being able to attack him. Otherwise an uneventful weekend for me in Battle stations, no exiting finds, alas.

Nice Doomy.
The "rarest" thing Ive found so far are either golden compasess or astrolabs that give an instant AP bonus...

Yeah, I've found two or three golden compasses, but nothing rarer than that. The rigours of not being an Explorer, I suppose.

If you really, really want to be an explorer you can change your class in the options menu. It's free the first time but costs 1 level for each subsequent change.

I didn't know that, thanks for the info. But I'm actually not that bothered at the moment. Engineer suits me fine so far.

Managed to have a go at the Event monsters just now (the abyssal things).
Unfortunately I didnt kill em, as my timing was off but still, got a few rounds in. Made a nice 8000+xp for each attack, so not too bad really.
