Let this be related for all discussion to the Lone Wolf game currently developed by Ksatria Gameworks... I stumbled across a blog written by one of the games designer: ravendsg.com/personal/gca-2008-the-first-day/Ray/2008/09/19/There are about 5 other snippets on the game. So I suppose the most interesting one is the conversion of the game to Xbox360.

The post made on Sept. 19th is quite interesting: Not sure how it went for GCA 2008 today, was working on the demo in the office with the rest of the Ksatria team. Even though we managed to get quite a bit done today, we still have lots of things to fix and issues to resolve. Anyway doesn’t help to think too much, just dive in and work, we still have tomorrow morning for our last burst of fire!
If I understand correctly, this means that a demo of the game will be launched today in the afternoon or tomorrow. On the other hand, this might also only means that the guys working on the demo will be present at GCA in the afternoon will stop working on it for the weekend.

Give me some time, amigos...I am consolidating some of the pictures of GCA 2008 (the cosplay actors and actresses) and secondly a brief outline of what I had spoken with Ksatria on Saturday.

Once you get that, send it to me. I'll make a new RS issue with this and the JD interview. Don't forget the pics of the booth girls! ;D

I'll try to save a bit of time for everyone:
When will the game be out? Is Banedon in it? How many books does the story cover? Is it first-person perspective only or is third-person perspective an option? Will it have online multiplayer? Will it have offline multiplayer? Will it be any good? If not, why not? Will it be ported to Wii/PS3/PS2/PSP/DS/ZX81? Will it have rocket jumping? And a free lollipop with every preorder?

When will the game be out? To be confirmed by the future publisher. Is Banedon in it?Will be a surprise How many books does the story cover? The first game covers the first half of the first book (5 chapters ) Is it first-person perspective only or is third-person perspective an option? At the moment only first person. But having an option for 3rd person is possible but not yet decided. Will it have online multiplayer?Currently no. Will it have offline multiplayer?Currently no. Will it be any good?Indeed If not, why not?N/A Will it be ported to Wii/PS3/PS2/PSP/DS/ZX81?The initial target is PC and XBOX360 and later on PS3, but once again it will be up to publisher to decide at the end. Will it have rocket jumping?Should we convert to self-MOM jumping And a free lollipop with every preorder?not decided at the moment

Thanks for answering my questions, even the silly ones. From what you're saying it sounds like Ksatria is still looking for a publisher, is that the case?

I have a question about releasing the game.
Are you thinking of releasing a retail disc or releasing it via Steam or Xbox Live Arcade? I always thought a game like this would benefit more from digital distribution rather than a disc retail release. It worked very well for the new Sam & Max games, so could see it working very well for LW as well.

With its modern graphics engine the game will surely be too large to qualify for XBLA. I think the only exception to the 500 megabyte size limit has been Castlevania: SOTN. I am 99.9 per cent sure we are looking at a full retail release here. I don't know enough about Steam to speculate about that.

Retail and Steam are the studied options at the moment.
