That's useful info, but I asked for a list of events, not potions. Oh... Well, that's not decided so far. We will have a main event similar to Casiorn/Avalar challenges, and there will be a event similar to Quarterstaff on Pole and the Axe throwing events in KDJT. As a warrior you do have an influence on the events we make by participating in the discussion in the Warrior Forums, and you can also suggest your own events.

Hmmm. The axe throwing will basically be pot luck and I'll presumably be able to collect potions in the main event so I think I'll reserve my potions for the quarterstaff contest. But that's not a long list, three potions is quite generous. I think KDJT was on the old site and before my time, so I'm not sure what's already been tried.

Quarterstaff on Pole might limit items to taking one before walking onto the Pole. Main event for this Magnamund Rescue will have far less loot, especially when it comes to consumables like Potions.

Hm.. Is this correct? I'm kinda new with this... You need to specify left or right leg. Otherwise, your entry contains all the needed information.

Somewhere in all of today's editing, I lost my original banner and random number choices. Replaced with new ones.

This is all making my head spin. Anyway, heres what Ive picked. eviltb Longbow with pull of 0 (is that possible, since I have no Strength bonus) Will fire from place #6 Orange banner, random number 4 Take an Eye potion before firing For every shot I want to fire at a footman in the chest? Does that make it easy. I can use a Bor weapon, but yknow, due to some trust issues I prob cant get hold of one

Yes, there is a pull 0, which gives you a basic '1' as a modifier
And lol, that's my shots too - for me, because I have no eye value except for a potion.

It gives 0 as Pull value in the formulae. You need to have a Pull 1 to get a 1 as a modifiers. eviltb: You will be firing arrows like your life depended on it at a rate of 4 arrows per round. They won't hit the body part you aimed for or do huge amounts of damage until the opponents gets closer but you will inflict a lot of minor wounds which no doubt will add up over time.

i was thinking the modifiers of 1, 1.1, etc to the final damage and i was tempted to go with a low pull, especially given my to hit, but the long range inadequacy made me want to risk big take=downs before they got in attack range. sham i can't push the warriors back

After all you have the helper who replenishes the ammunition who could get another bow for you. Any thoughts from the rest of the line-up? Edit: One more addition related to judging. Damage will be counted out with 1 decimal and with no rounding of intermediary results. So distance/20 and distance/30 are converted to decimal numbers which are then multiplied, and rounding takes place on the final damage for a shot. It is quite possible to get negative damage, this will count as 0 damage.

Certainly I think that you are penalised for a low pull bow at long range, basically requiring taking a lot of shots under fire yourself later, while the high pull bow over time really cripples your firing rate. As i said, i did not get round to doing the calculations so don't know the turning point. For all I know I will be cursing eviltb and wishing I had gone with the low pull aswell to compensate for my bad to hit
I think you can perhaps drop a round to swap bows? Or certainly a 2 or 4 activity swap will be needed to hand off the bow to a helper and test the new bow to get used to it. Seems like a fair penalty, someone can get off a few shots while you are messing around

Seems like a fair penalty, someone can get off a few shots while you are messing around If the helper hands you another Bow I guess it will be 2 activity for doing the swap, assuming you exchange when you have just fired a shot. You probably have to take a normal bow in exchange, i.e. one with Pull 0. The latter since you can't easily explain to helper just how tightly stringed you want it.
