Does everyone know how to register alternative characters on the board without requiring another e-mail address? Basically, PM me your new name and wanted e-mail, create your new account using a nonsense e-mail address, I'll alter the information and a new activation e-mail will be sent to your proper e-mail to activate the new account Simple! And yet somehow entirely bizarre.  |

Sommlending Knight Callum Darmoon (the grandson of Calym Darmoon from Night to Remember, who was the great great whatever grandson of Calym 'Urma Darmoon' Tolmanth from a Twist in Time Hello all ! I'm trying to compile the great "A Twist in Time" campaign - plus, we might decide to make it a real scenario, to be published and maybe printed. I only have the PDF I once sent to all campaigners but it was incomplete (bloody procrastination) and with the original forum dead (the wiki is still there, thanks to a link I sent to BlackCat a while ago), I cannot retrieve a thing. So, does any of the campaigners still has a copy of the campaign? For others, I can send my draft, which stops at the arrival of Sun Eagle) Please contact me by mail (david (commercial at) latapie (dot) name), as I seldom have time for checking this forum. |

Hey, welcome back ITK! I'm afraid I have a thread page here or there, but basically nothing really of any worth for that campaign  Maerin might have his notes for when he took over, and Sol might be communicatable who played the original alyss and might have had his original notes I should have my own character's information on my HD somewhere. I'll check to see if I had any other character or even story information threads that got saved. |

Apparently not Any facebook messages WH posts makes it sound like he's got enogh troubles right now without trying to build a tots site anyway! I guess we need some new programmer if we want an all singing all dancing site, or otherwise accept this is our new cool corner of the web! It's worse than I thought, I have two pages of useless discussion thread and one of topic rules hello thread. I have the original game rules post as the only useful thread The original folder doesn't seem to have had a name, it was just folder 20 / forum 20 |

Hi there, a couple of questions: Does anyone have links to the alternative rules crymson was using? I checked out the gameboard, but the links to the pdf's do not work anymore. Anyone have copies of those pdf's? Second, did anyone here play in crymson's playtest game using mongoose's new rules? If so can you share any info? Thanks! |

Yeah, I still have those on my HD I believe. New computer so have re-shuffled things, will have to dig around but will e-mail you then when I find them Yes I did, and though I didn't sign any NDA, I think I won't share anything just incase Crymson did  Basically, it really does give a structure to pose dice roll numbers to the GM, but otherwise it's just a mechanism to regulate playing the LW gamebook stories (and beyond) with a group of people. Storytelling over complex rules! I've asked and Matt had no problem with me freeing the game board in March, so if you can wait until then, you will get a chance to see what the play is like - and hopefully purchase based on that! |

Thanks Beowulf. Can you at least tell me though how combat with multiple foes was handled in the new rules? Say a Kai Lord takes on two Giaks simultaneously. How would combat rules handle that? Are both Giaks treated as one creature with one CS and Endurance, or are they seperate? I'm sure Matt wont mind you divulgnig this little bit of info which could help someone run his game, esp. somone who will buy the multiplayer book as soon as its out. |
