You're right. It doesn't really matter at all, but I'd still put my vote for Luneday being an official day, seeing as the moon tends to be very important in Earth mythos and most definitely is in Magnamund. Fair enough. Why would they have named a day in honor of the moon over Magnamund using the name of a mythological Earth deity? Now, of course, were you to call it Monday ("Moon-day"), well, that might be different... All that said, if one could conceptualize a tradition of capitalism and merchantile endeavors honored on one day, that day, in central Magnamund; and then further demonstrate how such a tradition might gain continents-wide prominence... Well, now then I suppose one may have some justification for calling one day of the week "Lune-day".

Lune was a currency in the area where Grey Star was. So I always assumed that Luneday had to do with money specifically and was probably a market day or the such.

Actually, the Lune is used no where near Grey Star's neck of the woods.

I think the Lune was a Central Magnamund currency, used in Anari, Lyris (I think!) and other places. LW often uses them.

Maerin is correct. The currency in this part of the world is the Noble.
The Lune is probably named after the Moon. Luna = Moon. And silver is a colour which could be fairly close to the colour of the Moon on Magnamund also.

Ah well. The Sages of tyrenis' era used Lunes as their own internal currency, so that's where I was getting confused. That's a pretty comprehensive reference list, Sarra!

Man tou Kai Supreme Masters are touchy - seem to think everything is a challenge... does it have something to do with your order's predisposition to run around the countryside proving to everyone what big swords you have?
