This thread is only for the fighters and me. All spectators should post in the Stadium thread.
Also, don't forget to vote! Spectators are an important part of this tournament, giving viewers the chance to change the final decision of a fight. Vote in as many fights as you wish. Fighters can also vote, though good etiquette demands they hold to their honor and not vote for themselves.
Okay guys, go ahead whenever you're ready. Either one of you can start. You take turns after that. This match will end when both players have made ten posts, or by Sunday (due to BC's time crunch, I'm giving you guys a bit of extra time if needed).

I glare across the arena at my opponent, the accursed Order Master for the Kai. As soon as the signal is given, cat-like I break into a run. My knives slide into my hands and with a flick of each wrist I send them sailing towards my opponent. They imbed in his chest just before I reach him. I press my attack with a palm-strike that slaps against his chest.

"Get off on me!" I say as I jump backward to avoid the attack. Thinking that I need to unsheat my weapon, I remember my old boxing lessons with the Vakeros Ninja Flick and decide to punch my opponent. A jab follow by an uppercut and Evil Tuberculosis falls on the floor. Unsheating my sword, I try to strike the enemy with the tip of my blade.

I flip up onto my feet just as my opponents blade lands in the dirt. I turn into the Kais body, breathing heavily in his ear. "The teachings of the Kai are a lie!" I growl deeply as I jab my fingers directly into his throat.

“Argh!” I scream as I strike out at my enemy to make him move backward after he had hit me in the throat. “Okay, you had your fun, now it’s my turn!” I add. With an increased force, I plunge my sword in Evil Tuberculosis’ body before twitching it away. My opponent, trying to run away from me, trips and falls. “You have paid for what you’ve just said about the Kai, but since the tip was not included in the price, I will now get it from you!”

"Ah blood, at last we can begin!!"
I flip onto my side and draw my rapier. Skipping forward, I feint then lunge at my opponent. I jab the blade into my opponents defence, trying to find an opening. I see my chance and strike hard, driving the tip of the blade deep into the Kais chest.

Looking at the scoreboard where the current results of a poll is displayed is just like a slap to my face: my enemy has more votes than me! I need to work harder if I want to move on to the next step of this tournament. My opponent just stroke me in the chest, so I need to answer back right away or the trip I've made to take part in the competition would be for nothing. I flip the dagger out of its secret scabbard in my boot saying: "Ah, now I knew why my foot was twitching!"

I watch as my opponent flicks a knife out of his boot. Not wasting a single moment, I jump in once again. I strike twice with my blade, cutting my foe deep in each arm. I am face-to-face with the hated Kai once more. I punch him square in the face with the guard of my rapier, blood spewing from his nose as he recoils.

Morgan intently watched Black Cat and Evil TB fight. It was a good fight. The two were well matched, and both were quick and skilled with their weapons.
She decided they could handle a little more heat.
At a gesture from her, Twiler pulled a level. A creaking sound, and then boards sprung out of the sand of Circle 2, framing the ring of the arena. Attached to the boards were sharp metal spikes. Not large enough to kill, but defenitely sharp enough to maim and damage any fighter that was thrown into them.

Ok, Evil Tuberculosis just stroke me with his weapon in the chest, and I hear people laughing about a something that I said earlier. That's enough, it's my turn to hit him! A jab, a punch and an uppercut (all that I've learned from my boxing lesson with Ninja Flick) all land. To end this attack, my dagger dives in the evil NAK's chest before I twitch it out.
6 words, 4 sentences EDIT: Since Zipp made a post while I was writing this, I totally missed the presence of the spikes.

I step back as I recoil from the Kais attacks. I sneer and low-sweep the Kai, aiming to trip him. As he falls, I skip up and grab him by the collar. Running with him in my hands, I drag him along the floor of the arena. Nearing the spikes I repeatedly smash him into the wall until he starts to go limp.

The skipping step is a difficult technique, and Evil TB has only just gotten the hang of it. However, he has not mastered the step, and as he smashes Black Cat against the wall, his balance is lost, and he stumbles, leaving him open for Black Cat's retaliation.

"Ahah! Did you trip on the flowers on the carpet?" I say, remembering what Ninja Flick once told me during one of our lessons when I was put in a similar situation. I immediatly jump on the occasion offered to me to deliver a series of blows to Evil Tuberculosis. With my sword and the tip of my dagger, I strike my enemy over and over again, until he is able to get back his balance and step back to avoid my fury.

"You realise of course, that I am trained to hunt your kind. You shall not run from this!"
I close my eyes, watching the Kai Grandmaster in my minds eye. My eyes open and I flickhim a piercing gaze. I lash out with a slient shout, striking my opponents mind.

"Oh, come on! I'm a Supreme Kai Master and you're now stepping on my domain with that mental attack!", I simply say, refering to my skills in mental disciplines. Evil Tuberculosis' attack on my mind couldn't pierce the mental fortress that I've built. It was as if he had slapped a rock with his bare hand: no damage was done. I reply with a strike of my own: the Kai-ray runs through the poor mental defences of my enemy, making him to fall and twitch on ground. As I stop the ray, the world spins around me for a few seconds because of the energy I've just spent, but it's not long before I am able to prepare myself for the next attack.
