Sorry to hear you're poorly, Zipp. Get well soon! Unfortunately I don't think Al is the right kind of doctor for what ails ya, unless it's the shakes from prolonged sobriety.

This was a dark magic seeping its way into the very hearts of his nephew's men. Oooh - I like that! I think this foray into Eshnar is going to be fun. It's even more obliterated than it was before, and there are all sorts of dark powers with influence there, both left over from Hazelae's tenancy and newly arrived with the influx of Chaos. Sounds like a recipe for considerable happenings.

Okay, okay - bit of momentum maybe starting here. Nice one there, Zipp. Is Simey that easily manipulated? Yeah, probably. Beo - the disturbance I mentioned could be anything, but had in mind it could perhaps be Sahmas, having not seen that the wolf creature being held isn't Beowuuf, unable to just stand and wait while 'he' gets taken away. Up to you though - use it if you want to. I'll try and get a response post to Cloe done later today.

Well, you gave me something decent to work with, so that was good. I've been looking forward to a Cloe-Simey interaction for ages. You do realize how epic this is, right? Sir Armadalus was invented in the same post that Cloe was invented in.

If Al or Doomy are around, I'd love to link them in. I think Sahmas is too lowly a knight to be able to bash through the Durenese lines (Although perhaps young and naive enough to try). But of course Beowuuf had a link to the dwarfs, which gives Sahmas some leverage. After all, the knights can be a bit ruder to each other as they are in an organisation. Much harder to be standoffish to your first diplomatic allies that have willing stuck their neck out for you Doomy, Al, are either of you free (posting wise) to have my charatcer rush over to where you are, and use your character as a means to crash the Durenese wolf party? It would also give a beat of time for Cloe/Armadalus to interact aswell as Simey/Cloe before the party's crashed by the dwarfs...also meaning that would put all us PCs nicely together for the calm before the storm

It's my turn to post but I'm really, really busy these days and it's ended up on the back burner. Off to Italy tomorrow also, I could maybe get a post up next week if you're needing me. Sorry I'm rubbish!

Panic ye not! We've just had over a fortnight's gap in posts and we're still going! All will be well! Not ideal to let that keep happening though, so if the dwarves are indisposed for a short while, we should try and work Sahmas in some other way (the dwarves can always join us eventually by simply wondering what the commotion is that has drawn the stupid humans' focus away from the task at hand - then we can all merrily get attacked together ). Is it plausible that if Armadalus approaches, Sahmas - recognising that he knows Beowuuf - might try and persuade him to help him? Armadalus is unlikely to allow himself to be hindered by the Durenese. You do realize how epic this is, right? Sir Armadalus was invented in the same post that Cloe was invented in. Really? I didn't realise that was Cloe's first appearance as well. And that's the scene I keep going back to, isn't it? Hmm, I'm glad you mentioned that - that might give me an extra element to throw into the mix.

Now that I think about it, there may have been a very short introduction to her in a previous thread, but it was more set up for a new character than anything else. She wasn't really Cloe at that point. I think there is a short post where she steals Purple Turtle's diamond and accidentally starts off the laughing plague.

Yeah, Cloe steals the diamond, then there was a gap, and I have the feeling the beast creature attack was the next post wasn't it (later being revealed or hinted at to be Zipp/Cloe, right?)
I'd still like you have the dwarfs 'alerted', but I guess the young knight doesn't get to speak to the top dogs. Discouraged, he comes back but has attracted Armadalus's attention, and the two of them hatch some loose plan to get passed the Durenese?

The dwarves alerted is a good idea. The only issue is Al or Doomy having chance to write them for a bit. But who knows whether we'll get very far for a few days anyway - I didn't get chance to write yesterday and now not sure when I will.
Never mind, we'll get there.

Done indeed! Trust you to sort things out! And what could have simply been a piece-moving post to manoeuvre everyone into the appropriate position, turns into something with character, interest and lovely little moments that illuminate the people and the situation really neatly. Very cool. Indeed, by section fifteen of the third accord, this being a potential theatre of battle, I must invoke the mandatory dictate that you do not confuse the chains of command by issuing potentially contraditory orders to a knight of a different region unless specifically provoked for commands, or unless the chain is visibly... Love it! ;D The echoes of 'Space Corps. Directives' resound in my head - brilliant!

Ooo, I get chills. This has been years in the coming: the first encounter between Cloe and Armadalus since she killed his men so long ago.
