I'm just back from Goth Con and I spent some time talking to Joe Dever about miscellaneous items.
Gold.
Sommerlund is the gold richest land on Magnamund.
1 gold crown contains 7 gram gold, this is what gives the gold crown its value.
Cener's and Ruel.
Arch Druid Cadak had demi-god status. He had ruel for a very long time when Lone Wolf killed him.
The Kingdowm of Ruel (with Eldenora) is a trade blocker forcing trade to take the route over the Tentarias. (Blocking trade between Palmyrion/Slovia)
The Ceners will play a role in the two last books. (No further details).
Magnamund
The planet is dominated by water, more so than earth. Not recalling the exaxt number, but it was like 5/6 or maybe even more water.
The opposite side of the planet (vs Southern and Nothern Magnamund continent) is islands and archipelagos. There is no other continents on Magnamund.
This is the origins and cause of the migrations over the years, when population was full, part of inhabitants set sail and came to Northern or Southern Magnamund.

The publisher by mistake burnt half of the print of book 12. These books were never reprinted thus, book 12 old edition is very rare in sweden.
The first 4 books in the series was selling so good that the company printing the series internally called "ensamma vargen" by name "lönsamma vargen" ("profitable wolf", but as you might guess it rhymes on swedish).
