"This is the Hall of Fire. Look yourself. There is nothing much here for anyone. It is just one of several reception halls."
This Hall is quite large, about 50 metres wide and 100 metres long. Roof is 20 metres up.
There are at least one hundred Fire Elementals in this Hall. Most are stationary and looking at the dozen or so brave people who have entered here before you. Several of fire elementals are already looking towards you and observes your actions but none appear hostile for the moment.
Along the walls are hearths and fireplaces. Magical firelights light up this room together with the elementals. Two large tables are placed to run the length of this hall, one on either side. Many minor items are places on the tables.
The walls are adorned with tapestries depicting fiery scenes, and there are many cupboards and shelves placed along the walls and by pillars in the room which supports the ceiling.
The two journeymen moves further into the Hall.

Satisfied with the condition of the platform, Doomy boards it alongside Beowuuf and begins lowering it to the next level.

Doomy tugs the rops. (I assume)
The platform descends for about 15 seconds before coming to a stop.
It is quite dark at this point, but after a couple of seconds search you do manage to find a lever set in the wall. There are no visible indications as to in which direction there is an opening, if there is an opening at all.

You come upon a heap of burnt flesh and bones.
"Someone who broke the peace," the journeyman explains.
At this point there are some shouts ahead and a clang of steel when a soldier strikes out at a lone Giak. In response the elementals and spirits close in on the soldier who struck the blow, and attacks.
Vainly the soldier tries to defend himself but within a minute all that remains of him is burning carcass on the ground. The giak loots the corpse recovering what has not already been burnt away.
"The exit from this Hall place is at the far end. If it works like the other Hall we visited you will see an item in a mirror set by the door. To move through the door you will need to find that item, it will be somewhere in this Hall. Everyone sees a different item."
The two journeymen continues across the Hall. It appears they are heading for the main exit.

Doomy pulls his lantern from his pack, lights it, and take a look around, pistol ready in his other hand.

Surrounding you is what at first seems like massive and solid stone in all directions.
Your keen dwarf senses allows you to see that one of the walls have been made to look like stone, but is instead a door. There are no handles or similar on that surface however. You suspect that there is a mechanism to make this part of the wall to open up. Likely the lever which you saw earlier.
There are no sounds where you are. The stone walls effectively stops any sounds from reaching you.

eviltb wondered to himself on what he would have to retrieve and indeed how he would achieve it without breaking this apparent non-tolerance of violence, the "peace" that the first man talked about.
follow to the exit, again just visual searching around, keeping aware of my surroundings

Doomy:
After a few seconds the stone doors you identified earlier slides open to reveal a grand chamber, and the sounds of hammers pounding on iron. The chamber is lit by a dim green light. It provides basic lightning but not a good one.
There is a lot of shapes moving around in this chamber. Most of them are very large.
eviltb: What are you looking (out) for ? You will not glean much information by an unspecified search. Looking for something specific will give you more information.

"Do we have permission to enter the hall?" yells out Beowuuf, shrugging to his dwarfish companion. After all, if the shapes are large enouhg, they probably won't be able to outrun them.

There is no (immediate) reply to Beowuuf's shout.
All the shapes carry on to do what they were doing before. Some glance at the open door, but lose interest shortly.
