I'm with Sam. I think the Magician looks like a Kai Lord. Especially if you remove the top of the staff and use a specialized glue and probably a drilled hole or at least a roughed surface to stick a spear head on.

I really wanted to do him like the soldiers on the cover of book 4 but then you had to go and mention Lord Rhygar . I think I might have to settle for something relatively generic.

Not if the ornate tip is removed. Ah, I see where you're going with this.

I like the halfblood, the other one seems ok but has a shiftiness where he is holding one of this daggers to his face. The second one has a very nice action feel to it.

I like them. I'm not opposed to the shiftiness of the first one, since Kai Lords are often stealthy.

Damn. The weather's improving and I'm getting into a painting mood and it looks like I've run out of one of the skin paints . Mid tone too (just to make it even more awkward).

Well I got them and they're tiny. They're really lovely sculpts but they're almost dwarf size. The Sommlending Knight of the Realm I was going to use with them stands towering head and shoulders above them (and he's old and stooped). Fortunately they're about the same size as the Giaks I was going to use so that's a bonus. I haven't compared them to the Mongoose miniatures yet (I've got them all apart from the doomwolf riders which simply looked too naff to buy). I'll hopefuly get painting soon.

Who's this then? Who's this? He needs a name. The current stand in name is Red Wolf (because he's produced by a company called Red Box). Red doesn't feel right so I'll see how he developes. More pictures to follow (hopefuly with more colours in them too .
