You missed my old character Shadow on the list of dead.

Sekhemty just wandered off in a skyrider, Winterhawk was kille,d ressurected, went nomad, then came back, then went off again That is starting to sound like a soap opera where the writers can't make up their minds what they actually want to do with the character.

But Beo, we all know that real life has no impact on a character's life. After all, if you have enough to kill off a character, you have enough to think what you really want to do with one

Ah, but you need only one unconnected post to kill off a character or put them out to pasture, you need about a post every two weeks to a month, with logical progression of character arc, story arc and so forth, to carry one on. And let's not forget the examples in quetsion would also be required to know and interact with the corrunt plotlines for their class too
That's alot of work!
You could always just demote you character to an NPC, but some peopel are funny about that!

Yes, we wouldn't want to be seen to be "dominating the West Watch", now would we?

Yeah, to retrieve the Sommerswerd from Ragadorn. Only for Winterhawk to show up with it unanounced, and send it off to Durenor without consulting any of the Kai Lords...
-GB, who was a bit cheesed off about this at the time, but now knows that it's a simple job to go get it sometime... Which I may do, when/if I rejoin the WW.

Just like it was a "simple job" for Lone Wolf to go retrieve it from Durenor that first time?

Well to be fair Jamqin 'disappeared' so the Ragadorn mission wouldd have failed! WH was obviously called dout of retirement to 'recover' the blade by Kai
Or something. Let's face it, worse things have happened in the west watch than the sommerswerd thing - Banedon's whereabouts come to mind!

Or his lack of whereabouts and whom he was allegedly with at the time.

GB, you're not the only one who was cheesed off, but I figured there was pretty much nothing we could do about it. I'm keeping out of the West Watch mainly because I just don't have the time for forum RP anymore with the full time published writing work and novels.
